An Approach as Unique as You

Therapy is not one-size-fits-all. My approach is individualized, creative, and collaborative, drawing from evidence-based methods to support your unique needs and goals for healing and growth.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

CBT is the foundation of many forms of therapy. It shines light on the connection between thoughts, feelings, and behaviors while providing evidence-based strategies to make changes. Our brains have this amazing ability called neuroplasticity, which means we can learn new patterns of thinking and behaving at any age.

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)

ACT focuses on reconnecting with who you are and what matters most to you. Together, we identify your values across different areas of life and find meaningful ways to put them into action. ACT helps you make peace with what you can’t control and take meaningful steps toward what you can.

Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)

Centered on emotional regulation, distress tolerance, mindfulness, and interpersonal interactions. We focus on building these specific skills to help you navigate intense emotions and improve relationships. DBT is especially impactful in teaching skills to manage intense distress. It teaches how to navigate the world effectively.

Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP)

The gold standard for treatment of OCD and anxiety disorders, ERP helps you gradually face the fears that hold you back while learning that you can tolerate discomfort without relying on avoidance or compulsive behaviors. Over time, this builds confidence, reduces anxiety, and helps you reclaim your life from the grips of fear.

Trauma-Informed Care

Our experiences shape us in ways we don't always recognize. Whether you've experienced significant trauma or haven't fully connected past experiences to present-day struggles, understanding their impact is an important part of the process. My approach emphasizes compassion, collaboration, and autonomy, creating a safe, supportive space to explore your experiences and move toward healing at your own pace.

LGBTQ+ Affirming & Gender-Affirming Care

In a world that can feel increasingly hostile and uncertain, you deserve a space where you are safe, understood, respected, and celebrated for exactly who you are. As a member of the community myself, I am affirming and compassionate. My professional advocacy is personal. I also provide letters of support for gender-affirming medical procedures in accordance with WPATH standards.
